Meet the Hartman Media Team
Allison Hartman
Founder, Author, Podcast Host
Allison Hartman is a children’s book author, podcast host, and founder of Hartman Media. She believes that curiosity is one of our greatest superpowers. She loves creating stories that spark wonder, inspire compassion, and remind kids (and grown-ups!) that there’s always more to the world than meets the eye.
Allison spent over 20 years in the financial world before following her creative calling. Her lifelong fascination with the mysteries of the universe, from UFOs and Sasquatch to the magic of everyday life, shows up in everything she writes and creates.
Allison has a degree in Early Childhood Education, is certified to teach PreK–8th grade and is also a certified Life Coach. When she’s not writing or dreaming up new stories, she can be found painting murals, exploring the skies with her UFO investigative project ARKUFO, or co-hosting The Grounded Galactic Podcast with her identical twin sister.
Her mission? To nurture curiosity about our world and beyond, empowering the next generation to discover their passions and use them to help our planet and its people thrive.

Emily Lane, PhD
Creative Consultant, Podcast Host

Emily Lane, PhD, MFA, is a lifelong Arkansan whose passion, simply, is to help make the world a better place. She exercises these passions through empathy, curiosity, creativity, advocacy, and research. In 2010, Emily received an MFA in filmmaking and spent several years documenting environmental and health injustices in Arkansas. Her films have been screened at festivals and events both locally and internationally, raising awareness about critical social and environmental issues.
In 2024, Emily received a PhD in Interdisciplinary Leadership Studies. In her doctoral research, she focused on identifying disproportionately impacted communities in Arkansas as well as public health leadership in the state, with an eye towards environmental justice and systems change. Emily has published academic research in public health and geography journals. In 2025, she began pursuing an MS in Health Promotion to deepen her understanding of public health practices and their applications in Arkansas.
Currently, Emily serves a local university as a project director for program evaluations and adjunct instructor of environmental health. In her free time, she enjoys working with her twin, Allison, on the Grounded Galactic podcast--a platform for reflection, realization, and revolution! Emily considers herself to be the "grounded" twin and aims to bridge metaphysical conversations with local and global topics to help uplift humanity.
When she’s not researching or advocating for change, Emily enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching documentaries, hiking, playing cards, and diving into deep conversations.

Andrew Hartman is the go-to builder and logistics wizard at Hartman Media. From construction projects for the podcast or vendor events to transporting materials, lots of heavy lifting, and assisting in the filming process, he makes sure projects are safe and functional!
When he’s not behind the scenes helping to bring ideas to life, you’ll probably find him out on the trails hiking or running, under the hood of a project car, or watching a good old-fashioned horror movie marathon.
